title

This prototype of Yoshi's Island was discovered by van_halen, who purchased it from a former Nintendo employee. Thanks to van_halen for the information and pictures.

I found the picture of this prototype on d4s' SNES filedump. After doing some sleuthing, I found a thread on Digital Press by van_halen, who purchased this prototype off of a former Nintendo employee. Despite the fact that it has "SNS-P" written on the chips, it has an NTSC prototype. van_halen dumped this game, and says it is identical to the US commercial release.
