Bubsy II is a terrible platformer, created back when it was popular to make animal character games that tried to clone the "attitude" of Sonic The Hedgehog. It even has a two player mode like Sonic 2. It wouldn't be so bad if it were like Sonic, where you don't get hit simply by jumping and hitting the enemies. Because you move so bloody fast, it is impossible to avoid them. Half the time, pressing jump doesn't respond in time to avoid those hard to identify pits. It also doesn't help that pretty much every enemy takes multiple hits to kill. A lot of the enemies are hard to distinguish from the background too.
