During the time of the snes, there were rumblings that Argonaut Software was developing a Transformers game making use of the Super FX chip. Now, those rumors never proved to be true, though Vortex seems to imply that the idea was taken seriously. Vortex plays a lot like Star Fox, except that you command a robot that is capable of transforming into 4 different forms. Unfortunately, the gameplay is slower than Star Fox, and using the alternate forms of the robot is at times clumsy. However, people may enjoy the freedom of motion that isn't present in Star Fox.
