One of the first RPGs for the Super NES, this one did not disappoint. Final Fantasy II features an interesting cast of characters, with the central character Cecil trying to find out about his destiny. Unlike common belief, Final Fantasy II is not Final Fantasy IV Easytype, as there are features in Easytype that are not in FF2, and it was in fact released afterwards. FF2 featured many changes from the original which made it less "offensive" and easier. FF2 is still regarded as one of the greatest RPGs ever made, and has been re-released on the PSX, GBA and Nintendo DS (with upgraded graphics and sound).

- This game made the cover of Nintendo Power issue 30 (November 1991)
