I got an email earlier today from a fan of this website, and sent me a link to his website RetroGameCraze.  He has a couple of really nice articles on cleaning a SNES system and SNES controllers.  If you want to give your console a nice cleaning, make sure to have a look at the guides.

Those guides are really good, some pics have some strange light glow in them but they're very good
